Personal data we process
We process, amongst other things, the following personal data:
- name and address details, title/gender, email address, telephone number and postal address;
- company name (in the case of a sole trader);
- financial information, such as bank account number (if our customer is a natural person)
- technical data, such as your IP address (in connection with the cookies we use);
- the personal data we process in connection with our online tools that you may use;
- all other personal data that we obtain and use for the purposes set out in this privacy statement.
How we obtain personal data
In most cases, we obtain your personal data directly from you. For example, when you place an order with us, when you fill in a contact form on our websites or sign up for a newsletter, when you use the Wijzonol Advies app, or when you contact us by telephone or email. In addition, we may obtain your personal data from third parties, such as your employer or a colleague.
The purposes for which we process personal data
- Performance of contracts entered into with our customers and suppliers, which contracts relate, amongst other things, to the supply of our products and/or services
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Marketing and business development (including our newsletters and other promotional communications)

- Providing and operating the Wijzonol Advies app

The legitimate interests for which we process personal data include our interest in performing contracts with customers and suppliers, our interest in informing existing customers about similar products or services of our own, our interest in securing our premises, our interest in fulfilling our duty of care towards our customers, and our interest in being able to handle any legal disputes (in exceptional circumstances).
Recipients of personal data
The personal data we process is not shared with third parties, unless this is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy statement. This may, for example, involve third parties (including our affiliated companies) that we engage to fulfil the agreements concluded with our customers. It may also involve, for example, the disclosure of personal data where we are required to do so by law. If a third party with whom we share personal data acts as a data processor, we enter into a data processing agreement with that party to protect the personal data. This includes, for example, the IT suppliers we engage. If a third party with whom we share personal data qualifies as a data controller, we will (where possible) enter into agreements with that party regarding the security of the personal data and the purposes for which it may be used.
Retention period
We do not retain personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy statement. Where there is a statutory retention period (such as the seven-year retention period for financial records) or a retention period set by the Dutch Data Protection Authority, we will comply with that retention period.

Your rights
You have the right to request access to, and the rectification or erasure of, your personal data, or to restrict the processing of your personal data; you also have the right to object to our processing of your personal data and the right to data portability.
